Philosophy Marlowe is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate who has been in the field for almost 2 years working with children, adolecents, and young adults. When she is not in session she enjoys attending concerts, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. She finds peace in natures and loves hiking with her dogs when she is able.
Marlowe focuses primarily in helping those experiencing self-doubt, low self-esteem, and poor emotional regulation. Her goal is to promote resilience and hope. She believes that by adopting a more mindful approach, her clients will better adapt and cope with life’s challenges.
Marlowe hopes to act as a liaison between parent and child. Children can oftentimes be misunderstood by the adults around them. She believes it is important to identify, and understand emotions at an early age. This is the building block for creating thoughtful adults with the capacity to assess their own needs.
Experience
Marlowe offers play therapy as a serivice to younger clients and works to create a fun, safe environment for children and adolecents to express themselves. She focuses on CBT, DBT, and strength-based approaches. Her goal as a professional is to help build confidence and resiliency in people. Her hope is that people can walk away from sessions with the ability to assertively communicate their needs/desires, in order to obtain their goals in life.
